I was hoping to have the grass cut before running tonight but seeing as the mower did not want to cooperate I gave up and had dinner. We went running at 8:30 this evening. I’m still nursing a sore left shin so I let my wife run out ahead. That only means that she just became a rabbit! I tried to keep up with her and struggled. By the half mile mark my shin had loosened up enough that I was able to gain some ground…not a lot mind you but a little…I think the hill slowing her down helped too. I finished the mile with a 8:40 pace (she finished with a 8:30 pace!)
